Dear Supporter,
I am pleased to bring to your attention the video footage of presentations from SPUC's recent one-day conferences in London and Glasgow. We understand it wasn't possible for all of you to attend in person, so hopefully through these videos you can get an insight into the conferences!
SPUC was thrilled by the presence of guest speakers, Dr Sharon James of The Christian Institute, and writer & bioethicist, Fiorella Nash. Dr James delivered an engaging talk on the history of abortion, and spoke about how the prevailing lie that abortion aids female liberation must and will be corrected! Fiorella spoke from a feminist perspective, on the theme of abortion and coercion, confronting the lie that informed choice is behind the majority of decisions to request abortion.
SPUC's Margaret Akers provided a helpful overview of our Abortion and Coercion campaign, providing delegates with the most impactful ways they can help highlight the reality of coerced abortion.
