That’s why Skyler and Andrew work with Trevor to spread the message of the life-saving importance of family acceptance. “It’s not because they hate themselves. It's because of a lack of affirmation. It's something that should be received, but it’s not,” Andrew said.

“That's our PSA. Just continued affirmation. That's the most rudimentary, easiest thing,” Andrew continued. Skyler agreed: “The moral of the story is: radiate unconditional love and acceptance.”
