Stand with organizing workers impacted by employer retaliation and tell the Labor Department to declare a national emergency.

Hi Friend,

Right now, the federal government has the power to assist workers affected by major emergencies or economic turmoil. We know the Labor Department has the tools and resources to assist impacted workers, and it’s time for action. Previous Secretaries of Labor have activated so-called Dislocated Worker Grants to help workers in need.

Workers face a different type of disaster--one caused by ruthless employers, committed to preventing workers from organizing in any way they can.

It's why Jobs With Justice is joining alongside our partners at the FiredUp! Campaign to call on the Labor Department to assist the thousands of workers organizing and striking to demand better working conditions.

Will you join us and sign the petition and tell the Labor Department to provide financial protections for fired workers!

Click here to demand financial protections for workers fired for organizing!

Organizing workers face immense pushback from employers, who engaged in an anti-union retaliation campaign, leading to the firing and dislocation of untold numbers of workers. It’s a national emergency and one that demands a response from the Labor Department.

So please, sign the petition and tell the Labor Department to assist impacted workers wrongfully terminated or retaliated against simply for standing up for their rights.

Corporations continue to pull in record profits, all while keeping wages and benefits lower for the workers who make those profits possible. When workers organize to demand better pay or safer working conditions, employers often retaliate and fire those who dare organize or speak out against corporate greed.

Enough!

We know the Labor Department can offer much-needed assistance to impacted workers, so please, sign the petition and tell the Labor Department to take action and declare an emergency, opening dislocated worker grants to those affected by unscrupulous employers.

Sign the petition today.

In Solidarity,

Joel
