John,
After an exceptionally close race, the fight for a U.S. Senate seat in Georgia is heading to a runoff election that will take place in just three weeks. On December 6, Democrat Raphael Warnock will face Republican Herschel Walker.
Although Democrats already defied the odds with a massive victory to keep control of the Senate, a victory for Warnock in this runoff race is still critical. If Warnock wins, Democrats will have 51 votes in the Senate, which makes a huge difference and makes coal barron Senator Joe Manchin less powerful.
John, you can help us reach voters in this important runoff race – a race that could decide the future of federal climate action. Here are two ways to get involved:
📞 Attend a phonebank to make calls to voters!

Making calls is a great way to engage voters and make sure they have a plan to vote! If you haven't phonebanked before, no problem! We’ll have a brief training to kick off our phonebank events which are starting TONIGHT.

Don’t have time to volunteer but want to help fund our efforts? Make a donation to Food & Water Action to support our voter outreach campaign. Every dollar you give helps us make more calls and send more letters.
In the months before the midterms, thousands of our members and volunteers made nearly 500,000 phone calls to voters. Our work paid off in key races across the country, resulting in wins for many progressive candidates. We know these strategies work!
As we wait for the midterms’ final tallies, the fight continues in Georgia – and so do our get-out-the-vote efforts! Help us to get voters to the polls in Georgia by joining an upcoming phonebank – our first one is TONIGHT at 7p.m. ET.
