Today is “red cup day” at Starbucks, and Starbucks workers need your help.

In SoCal, participating stores will be striking as part of a nationwide “Red Cup Rebellion.” The following stores will be ON STRIKE. Find a store near you and pick up your UNION Starbucks Workers United red cup:

What’s at stake?You probably know that Starbucks Workers United is coming together across the country to put pressure on Starbucks for the contract workers deserve. They’ve been waiting almost 12 months for progress in bargaining, in fact, most stores have waited 6 months or more. There are over 250 unionized Starbucks locations, and yet Starbucks has only met with a small handful and they're now walking out of negotiations after mere minutes.

The Labor Board has already issued 39 official complaints against Starbucks, encompassing over 900 violations of federal labor law. Starbucks’ union-busting campaign must end.

Workers are fighting to make Starbucks a better company and a better place to work. Their goals will not only improve working conditions, but it would also improve our customers’ experience, too.

Starbucks thinks that they can wait us out, but we’re here to rebel against their tactics and we mean business – by shutting down theirs.
