[Join us for International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day on Saturday, November 19, 2022]([link removed])

This Saturday, November 19, people who have been affected by suicide loss will gather at events around the world for International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, also known as Survivor Day. This annual occasion is an opportunity for suicide loss survivors to share their stories and seek support from others who understand.

To supplement local events taking place in communities everywhere, there will also be two national, online events:

- Día de Esperanza (Day of Hope), taking place one day before Survivor Day, will offer support specifically for Hispanic and Latinx communities that have been affected by suicide loss. The event will feature a screening of an AFSP-produced documentary that explores the impact of suicide and the diverse ways in which the journey of healing can manifest. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion highlighting the powerful stories and learnings of Hispanic and Latinx suicide loss survivors. Join us at 4pm ET on November 18th at [facebook.com/afspnational]([link removed]) or [youtube.com/afspnational]([link removed]).
- Survivor Day Live will also feature a screening of an AFSP-produced documentary. The screening will be followed by a discussion with several loss survivors, exploring their experiences and what set them on a pathway toward healing. Topics of discussion will include coping strategies, trying to find closure, and grappling with loss over the holidays. Join us at 7pm ET on November 19th at [facebook.com/afspnational]([link removed]) or [youtube.com/afspnational]([link removed]).

We encourage you to join us and share the event information with others in your community.
