When Democrats vote, Democrats win, folks.
Republicans know it, too. So instead of trying to win over voters, they want to make voting as difficult as possible.
Costly, time-consuming photo ID requirements are one of their key strategies to keep folks locked out of the political process.
In fact, not having a photo ID may have prevented thousands of eligible voters from making their voices heard in the poll booth this past Tuesday. So we’re going to do something about it.
I introduced the IDs for an Inclusive Democracy Act this week, which will establish no-cost, federal photo ID available to all Americans over 14 years old.
Make no mistake: under Republicans, voting rights are on the chopping block. So with just weeks to go before the GOP majority is sworn in, will you add your name to our petition to defend voting rights? We need to show that we have a strong grassroots team by our side.
Thank you for standing up for democracy, friend.
