The New Years Revolution
continues! Last night we had a ton of comrades out for Brews
for Bernie to drink, plan, and socialize (get it?). And we’re
continuing organizing for the next two days of our week of
action!
With only two months left until the Democratic primary it’s
time to hit the streets!

We’re all horrified at the prospect of a war
with Iran, a war that will cause the deaths of countless working-class
people while weapons manufacturers and military contractors make
billions. East Bay DSA is joining a mass demonstration happening in
San Francisco and we encourage all of our members to show up and shut
it down! Let’s stop the forever wars! You can read DSA’s National Political
Committee’s statement here.

This Sunday we’re Barnstorming at
Sports Basement in Berkeley to organize neighborhood
canvassing - an extremely
important tool that we’re going to use to win this election.
At the Barnstorm, you’ll learn the basics of running a
canvass and organizing your neighborhood for Bernie
Sanders! We’ll
discuss:
- How to
talk with folks you’re canvassing using “The Rap”
- How to
store and use the contacts you make
- How YOU
can use your unique skills to build our movement!
PLUS we’ll hear some amazing
speeches and share our skills to make our movement stronger.
And we’ll put these skills to the test with a big
canvass after!
The venue is ADA accessible and
childcare will be provided.
