New Year’s Eve was a surreal experience.

I put out a call for $421 to meet our goal — and you responded with $4,255! Wow! It was pretty incredible to watch the donations roll in all evening.

We more than exceeded our end-of-quarter goal, and in fact, we raised MORE cash this last quarter than we did in Q3. All with an average online donation of $23.59. Thanks to you!

Yesterday we paid $6,800 for our canvassing tool. Next we’re going to hire a Field Director (here’s the application, if you know anyone interested), invest in more organizers, run ads — and win this race!

We’re investing heavily in our ground strategy because connecting with voters is what’s going to win this race, and to do that, I’ve set a new goal: we need to raise $5,000 by January 10 to pay for this month’s field operation. Can you chip in to help us reach $5K?
