Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy (CT) is helping folks understand why Raphael Warnock's runoff campaign for U.S. Senate in Georgia urgently needs donations right now:

John, there are huge "behind the scenes" differences between a 50-50 Senate and 51-49 Democratic majority. Dems would no longer have to share power with Republicans in committees. No single Democratic Senator (like Joe Manchin) could hijack or block the president's nominations. And Dems could still hold votes even with 2 Democrats absent. In short -- Democrats would be able to get much more done.

The Warnock campaign sent these bullet points out earlier this week to show how different donation amounts can help:

• $15 will help the Warnock campaign get signs up across the state.
• $25 will make sure his staff can continue their grassroots organizing.
• $50 will keep Warnock on the road and talking to voters.
• And $150 will help keep his TV ads on the air.

PCCC members have already donated more than $100,000 to keep Rev. Warnock in the Senate.
