Policies for Action is thrilled to announce
five new research hubs that will investigate a variety of health and racial equity topics. The hubs will produce high-impact research aimed at answering critical policy questions and inform discussions around the best ways to ensure everyone can be healthy, with particular attention to addressing racial and ethnic disparities.
The Institute for Women’s Policy Research will explore the root causes of racial, economic, and health disparities and how they might be overcome to advance equitable outcomes for women, families, and communities of color.
The University of California, Berkeley, will investigate economic and related policies that enhance the incomes and well-being of low-wage working families and address racial disparities.
The University of Minnesota aims to identify, analyze, and share antiracist policy strategies and develop a body of evidence to eliminate racial injustice and improve health and well-being.
