Nevada is RED
Per NBC News:
<[link removed]>
Republican Joe Lombardo has defeated incumbent Democratic Gov. Steve
Sisolak in the Nevada gubernatorial election, flipping the state and
adding to the Republicans' crucial line of defense against the Biden
Administration's overreach. Governor-elect Lombardo: "Our victory is
a victory for all Nevadans who want our state to get back on track.
It's a victory for small business owners, for parents, for students,
and for law enforcement."
Biden to Do "Nothing" Different After Midterms
Per National Review:
<[link removed]>
During a press conference following last week's midterm elections,
President Biden said that he plans to do "nothing" differently
during the last two years of his term - despite historically high
inflation, rampant crime, and international crises characterizing his
term thus far. As votes continue to be counted, Republicans are also
increasingly likely to take control of the House, meaning that President
Biden will likely have a far more difficult time passing parts of his
liberal agenda from now on.
White House Silent on Afghanistan Money
Per The Washington Free Beacon:
<[link removed]>
President Biden's State Department is refusing to comply with a
government watchdog investigation into how more than $1 billion of
taxpayer money was spent in Afghanistan since the Taliban retook control
of the country last year. Their refusal to cooperate is the latest
controversy surrounding President Biden's botched withdrawal of U.S.
forces from Afghanistan in 2021, which left 13 Americans dead.
