I'm sure that by now you already know Trump has announced that he is
running for President in 2024.

Believe me, as the Director of Communications here at DFA, I don't want to
talk about Trump anymore either. I'd rather write about all of the amazing
progressives we elected last week and everything they are going to do to
move our nation in the right direction. But the truth is, Trump first won
in 2016 because many people didn't take him seriously enough and by the
time they did, it was too late.

The only way we make Trump and his extremist politics irrelevant for good
is by beating him again, and with Trump already running, that work has to
start right now.

In 2020, progressives came together to defeat Trump. We started the work
early and never gave up, and our hard work paid off when we elected
President Joe Biden and progressive majorities in Congress.

We can do it again in 2024 and this time, let's send Trump packing for
