PLANNED PARENTHOOD
Last Tuesday, five states put abortion directly on the ballot. And in all five states, voters chose to protect abortion access. Voters showed up to support reproductive freedom ballot measures in Michigan, Vermont, and California and rebuke anti-abortion measures in Montana and Kentucky.

Now, we have a chance to take stock and gear up for what comes next. And as fired up as this movement is, doing the work to protect and expand access to care won't be easy. That's why I was so excited to talk to Sen. Mazie Hirono about the 2022 ballot measures and the broader work ahead that's necessary to protect reproductive health and rights.

Take a few minutes to watch the interview with Sen. Hirono. We dig into what these ballot measure victories mean for abortion access, why grassroots activism and mobilization will be critical for efforts to push back against abortion bans in the states, and how Sen. Hirono is fighting for abortion access in the U.S. Senate.

Thanks for watching.
