Prioritizing safety and health in Haiti with UNICEFThe health and well-being of children in Haiti are under threat as cholera cases are on the rise and schools are threatened by gang violence in Port-Au-Prince. Cholera is contracted by ingesting contaminated food or water and it is particularly deadly for children under 5 who are most affected by severe acute malnutrition.
