Summer is already in DC starting orientation for new members of Congress, but first, we want to look back on this past year on the campaign trail.

On October 19, 2021, Summer announced her run for Congress to take the fight for a Green New Deal, Medicare For All, and racial justice to Washington.
Along the way, we got support from some pretty incredible leaders including President Barack Obama, Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, and the Squad.
Together we connected with thousands of voters, had a lot of fun, and never forgot who we were fighting for — the people of Western Pennsylvania.
Starting in the primary, super PACs attacked Summer with over $10 million in attack ads. Thanks to this grassroots movement, we had the resources to fight back — but our work is just getting started.
Now that Summer is set to officially join Congress in less than two months, we know that attacks from the GOP and far-right media like Fox News will only increase. There's so much we're working toward and so many promises we have to keep, so we need your support to ensure Summer is ready to hit the ground running in 2023.
