Jack,

Last night, Donald Trump announced his 2024 Presidential campaign. This happened a week after Republican extremists that were endorsed by him lost their elections widely across the nation.

We know that the pressure is on for 2024, but we want to gently remind you that elections happen every year, not just during even years. We will be heavily focused on engagement next year to get communities of color more involved in the political process and to hold their elected officials accountable. We will also be mobilizing voters across our state to vote in municipal elections in 2023.

We have a lot of work ahead of us in 2023. Will you invest in communities of color and chip in what you can to help us organize our state?

Setting up an infrastructure in our state to earn the trust of communities of color takes time and long-term investments. We will be here for years to come to support people across our state, not just during election seasons, but all year round.

Building foundations requires a lot of teamwork. Will you help us reach our goals to create a better North Carolina for all?

Thank you for your support,
