As we wait for final ballots to be counted here in CA-47, and learn more
about the plans Kevin McCarthy and Donald Trump have for our country, I’m
thinking about the speech I gave on Election Night—[ [link removed] ]you can watch it

I said that night: We are not going to sit back and watch people like
Donald Trump, Kevin McCarthy, Mitch McConnell, and Marjorie Taylor Greene
destroy our country. We’re not going to sit on the sidelines as they sell
OUR democracy to the highest bidder.

So for now, I want to say again—thank you to everyone who got off the
sidelines during this year’s election.
