Last night, Donald Trump and his Administration made a reckless decision to launch airstrikes in Iran killing a top military general. This could be the start of another war in the Middle East this country doesn’t need or want.

I would not have voted to authorize Trump’s defense budget — however my opponent Rep. Joyce Beatty did. The decision to authorize this budget, among other things, directly facilitated this recent attack.

Not all Democrats are created equal and if we want different outcomes for our generation, Congress needs a reset. Will you contribute so I can fight to end these endless wars and aid this reset Congress so desperately needs?

War has been a part of the status quo of this country for too long. In college, my classmates and I watched as we started the war in Iraq based on false information. Then, working in DC, I saw how comfortable the liberal establishment was with continuing these ill-advised wars.
