Are you ready for this week's presidential primary debate,
John?

Bernie's vision of directly challenging big money in politics
has already defined the 2020 election cycle, and now the issues
that he's always been fighting for -- Medicare for All, College
for All, Good Jobs for All, Environmental Justice, Justice for
All, and more -- are dominating the discourse.

However, we know that the corporate media (90% of all U.S.
media is controlled by a small number of multinational
corporations, some of whom do business in industries like health
care) will do everything possible to distract from the fact that
all of these ideas are popular with the majority of Americans.

That's why we are asking for your advice on how the media could
do a better job with presidential debates.

When Bernie first stepped onto the national debate stage nearly
four years ago during his 2016 campaign for president, ideas like
getting big money out of politics, a $15 an hour minimum wage,
healthcare for all and free college for all were considered
fringe. Now, they are mainstream.

The momentum for Bernie's vision is a direct threat to the big
money interests that profit from the status quo. That's why we
can expect to see all sorts of misleading tactics to distract
from the issues that are important to non-wealthy Americans.

How can the media do a better job focusing on the issues at
presidential debates? Let us know here→

As Bernie always says: change happens from the bottom up. It
always has, and it always will.

That's why Our Revolution groups across the country are working
hard to build a grassroots political movement powerful enough to
take on the political establishment and every special interest
that stands in the way of our policies passing the House and
Senate.

We must elect a Democrat who will defeat Donald Trump next
year, but no candidate is capable of challenging the rise of
authoritarianism or the entrenched power of our political
establishment without a united grassroots movement behind them.

Before this week's debate, share your thoughts on how the media
could better serve American voters by using the debates to focus
on the issues.
