Our democracy is on the line.
Wow, John, did you see the news? 🙄
Donald Trump is officially running for President in 2024.
That’s right. The TV celebrity + known seditionist + dude who’s *actively* under investigation by the January 6th committee is launching his third (and hopefully last) campaign for president more than 700 days before the 2024 election.
FIGHT BACK NOW
Look, I’ve always said Donald Trump could endorse a ham sandwich and GOP Super PACs would dump loads of money behind it.
But now that Trump *himself* is running for president, we can expect this next cycle will be nastier + more expensive than ever. He even already said he’d challenge the results of the election if he doesn’t win.
The movement we’ve built over the last two years is *so* special that we can’t let it stop on Election Day 2022. We need to carry this grassroots energy forward so that we can defeat Trump + save our democracy in 2024. That’s why I’m asking:
Can you chip in $5 or more today? If we’re going to stand up to the GOP’s dirty, icky dark money + Trump’s self-funded million$, we need the support of grassroots supporters like you starting NOW.
DONATE NOW →
I’ve fought back against the insurrectionists + seditionists inspired by Donald Trump every chance I got. In the PA legislature, I stood up when Republicans refused to swear in a legitimately elected Democratic State Senator the day before the insurrection. The GOP *literally* voted to eject me from the chamber.
Then, when Donald Trump aimed his bogus demands for a “full election audit” at our Commonwealth, I was a leading voice as lieutenant governor calling out his BS.
Now, I’ll continue the fight against his Big Lie + the powerful special interests behind it in the U.S. Senate. But we can’t stop there.
With so much on the line (like our entire DEMOCRACY!!), we need to stay prepared through this cycle + beyond. So John, will you chip in $5 or more today?
Thanks for always standing with me.
– John
