Well John, we knew it was coming. It’s like a car wreck you can’t stop watching - Trump has made his 2024 bid for President and it was a mess to watch.

As the well-informed person you are, I’m sure that you already know the majority of Trump’s speech was misleading at best and flat-out false the rest of the 90 minutes he spent rambling.

But, let’s dig into some figures, just so we’re clear.

1.) Trump wasn’t the “first” and “only” president to implement tariffs on China. And studies show that American IMPORTERS had the burden of the tariffs.

2.) Trump said that nuclear weapons pose a greater threat than climate change. It’s not really a competition - we can both avoid a nuclear war as well as tackle climate change. Trump’s aversion to any type of science has him beat on both of those fronts.

3.) Trump thinks that former President Obama stole documents like him - and that just isn’t true. Trump stole documents, and hid them in what is now suspected to be MULTIPLE locations…and we still don’t know where they are or what was his purpose for having them.

Trump will still run on the same classics he’s been on - hating immigrants, loving corporations, slashing regulations, and tax breaks to the wealthiest people in the country.

We know all of this, so we know the road ahead. We keep pressing on, fighting against the same threats to Democracy that have been highlighted since January 6th.

The DOJ will still do its job investigating him and the January 6th Committee will still continue to receive evidence.

We have to stand against this all in the time from now until 2024 and beat the MAGA mindset and Trump once and for ALL. It’s an uphill battle, but it is worth the effort and the fight.  Join with me John, and send a message with your support that America will not stand for Trump's twisted schemes.
