John,
It’s action week! All week, we’re mobilizing supporters like you to urge Congress to pass long
overdue immigration reforms to provide permanent solutions for Dreamers, TPS recipients, and agricultural workers, and work with administration officials to improve border management.
Here are three things you can do this week to call on Congress to act:
1. EMAIL: Send your Senators an email urging them to support meaningful, bipartisan immigration reform.
2. CALL: Call your Senators and ask them to reform and modernize our immigration system. Dial 202-224-3121 and a switchboard operator will help connect you directly to your Senators.
3. GET SOCIAL: Post on social media to share why you support incremental immigration reforms and urge your friends to join you.
The status quo is not working. Now, more than ever, we need to make changes to our outdated immigration system – and you can help push Congress to act now.
An overwhelming majority of Americans across the political spectrum want lawmakers to work together on key immigration reforms – from providing a permanent solution for Dreamers and TPS holders to modernizing our agricultural workforce and enacting secure, humane, and sensible border solutions.
The time is ripe for change. We can’t afford to wait another 36 years (1986 was the last time Congress passed expansive immigration reform) to update our immigration system.
Take one or all the actions above – and urge Congress to pass needed immigration reforms this year.
Thank you for all your support,
Becka Wall Vice President of Digital Communications National Immigration Forum
