What a night!

While pundits and naysayers gleefully predicted a “red wave”, Democrats Serve confidently invested in public service Democrats across the country who know first-hand the real-life impact of the policies they’re backing, and who know from experience what it takes to get things done.

And our strategy worked.

While we’re still awaiting results in key races in the Arizona governor’s race, the LA mayor’s race, and several key House races that will decide control of Congress, we are thrilled to announce many Democrats Serve victories from last night:

Patty Murray (WA), Michael Bennet (CO), and Richard Blumenthal (CT) won resounding victories in their U.S. Senate races, building a strong foundation for Democrats to keep control of the Senate.

Josh Shapiro (PA) and Maura Healey (MA) successfully FLIPPED their states’ Governor seats, guaranteeing strong leadership in those states to benefit our communities and economy.

And at least 36 public service candidates running for the U.S. House of Representatives have already declared victory, blocking the so-called “red wave” entirely.

For these public service pros, strengthening their communities isn’t just a job – it’s a way of life. Their experience as frontline workers gives them first-hand expertise in tackling the toughest challenges our families face today.
