I attended a Veterans Day celebration held by American Legion Post 59 in Laredo. We remembered those who we lost in battle and showed our appreciation for all our veterans. Thank you for your service. Because of you, we are the land of the free. God bless America.

My Starr County Outreach Coordinator, Robert Bazan, attended a ribbon cutting for the South Texas College Starr County Campus Veterans Support Center. Thank you Lt. General Ricardo Sanchez for your words and everyone who participated in this project to honor our veterans.

My Laredo Outreach Coordinator, Melissa Peña, attended the La Estrella del Deporte Awards hosted by Webb County Commissioner Jesse Gonzalez. The project recognizes high school seniors for their achievements in both, academics and sports. Thank you Commissioner for promoting education in our community and encouraging young students to reach their full potential.

My Starr County Outreach Coordinator presented a United States flag to Father Eduardo Ortega of the Immaculate Concepcion Catholic Church in honor of the Veterans Day mass they held.
