The announcement couldn’t have come at a worse time for him, or for his Republican co-conspirators in Congress.
While Republicans are expected to narrowly control the House, there’s no question that last week’s midterm elections were a resounding rejection of Trump Republicans and their attacks on our freedoms — with Democrats retaining control of the Senate and many high-profile election deniers endorsed by Trump himself losing big.
