Donald Trump announced another run for president last night. Our communities have been a constant target of Trump’s attacks, so his announcement is sure to drum up even more anti-immigrant actions and rhetoric from his campaign, supporters, and allies.
But United We Dream Action is building the infrastructure to defend immigrants from xenophobic politicians like Trump. We built deportation defense teams and assembled “Know Your Rights” resources to empower vulnerable immigrants, successfully defended DACA at the Supreme Court, and eventually helped defeat him in 2020. And we will be on the frontlines to defeat hate and defend immigrants no matter what.
