Make no mistake, today is a heavy day for the United States.
 
But together, we are more the majority and we are more powerful than Trump
and his MAGA allies.

Just look at the results of the midterm elections last week. Our movement
defied history, held the Democratic majority in the Senate, and defeated
many of the most extreme election deniers handpicked by Trump himself.^2
 
Over the next 24 months, we will hold protests and rallies and organize
opportunities for MoveOn members to volunteer, knock doors, call and text
voters, and do more to defeat Trump and build a future where everyone can
thrive.

And we won't stop at just defeating Trump. If the GOP picks one of Trump's
copycats, we'll be ready to defeat them, too. And it all starts by sending
Trump packing, once and for all. 
 
As a first step, let’s make a loud, undeniable statement to Trump and to
the world that 1 million MoveOn members are ready to vote against him and
prevent him from taking over the White House.

Trump's grip on the GOP is at its weakest point since 2016 at this moment,
due to his role in turning off voters in last week's election—it's the
best time to show that Trump will never be elected because of widespread
opposition.
