As Arizona’s next governor, I will always stand up for our democracy. And over the last few years, I’ve faced nearly constant attacks from Trump, Kari Lake, and their allies for doing just that.

There are almost certainly more attacks to come. The far-right has built a movement around refusing to accept the results of our elections unless they are in their favor — and with Trump back on the ballot, their lies and conspiracy theories in states like ours will only ramp up.

For the sake of our democracy and the future of our state, we need to step up right now and make sure we’re prepared to fight back.
