Tonight at Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump officially declared his candidacy for President. Even after Republicans across the country blamed key midterm losses on Trump and his tired MAGA agenda, the disgraced former President is hopeful that voters will forget the calamity of his failed presidency.

We know exactly what another Trump term would entail. From his gross mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic to his selfish encouragement of violent insurrectionists on January 6th, Trump proved time and again that he can’t be trusted with power. We should all be alarmed at Trump’s announcement and need to be prepared to respond to his divisiveness over the next two years.
