Dear John,

We enter 2020 with arms control in crisis. Now, more than ever, we need to recognize and support heroes who demonstrate exceptional leadership in raising awareness of the threats posed by the world's most dangerous weapons.

Please cast your vote for the 2019 Arms Control Person(s) of the Year. ([link removed])

In a field that is often focused on threats and challenges, our Arms Control Person(s) of the Year contest highlights the many positive initiatives that help improve international peace and security.

This year's nominees are listed below. Each of the nominees has advanced effective solutions to help reduce weapons-related security threats during the past year.

Now, we need your vote for the nominee whom you believe has made the most substantial contribution to effective arms control, nonproliferation, and disarmament in the past year. ([link removed])

Voting will close on Wednesday, January 8, 2020.
PLEASE VOTE TODAY! ([link removed])

In peace,

Tony Fleming
Director for Communications & Operations
Arms Control Association

P.S. The official results will be announced Friday, January 10. However, we will inform participants on our 2020 Members Briefing ([link removed]) of the results one day earlier, Thursday, January 9. We want our members to be the first to know, so join and RSVP today!
