We *really* wish we weren’t sending this email. 

But, unfortunately, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump has announced his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election.

You'd think he would be embarrassed -- Trump and extremist MAGA Republicans have never been weaker. Last Tuesday, young voters exceeded expectations and put a dead-stop to Trump’s predicted Republican ‘red wave.’ Our message to him is clear: Hate, fear, and bigotry have no place in our country.

Young people have rejected him. Our country has rejected him. But despite all of this, Trump has still decided to run, threatening the progress of our democracy, and all that we’ve accomplished.

There’s going to be a lot of noise surrounding this announcement. But above all, we want you to remember this: Donald Trump is the driving force behind the Republican Party’s attempts to roll back our rights and undermine our democracy. 

Trump’s Supreme Court appointments were the deciding factor in overturning our right to abortion -- putting our country in a health care, constitutional, and economic crisis. 

Decisions made by Trump and MAGA Republicans impact you, your friends, and your community. Not just for an election cycle, but for generations.
