Friends — I wanted to write to you as soon as I heard the news: Donald Trump is running for President again.

He just made his announcement, and in typical Trump fashion, it was a bigoted speech that showed complete disregard for our democratic institutions.

This is an all-hands-on-deck moment: We need to act now to fight back against Trump's attacks. We've learned from the past six years that he's willing to do whatever it takes to accumulate power, no matter who it hurts.

We can't afford another Trump presidency. We can't afford another four years of conspiracy theories, attacks on our democracy, and extreme far-right policies. We need to make sure we're building up the infrastructure needed to defeat Trump and Trumpism.
