I wanted to follow up on Katherine’s email about the fundraising freeze.
Beginning on December 10th, Washington state law requires a mandatory “freeze” on all fundraising for statewide elected officials, including me.
Specifically, I cannot accept campaign contributions as long as the state legislature is in session (and in the past it has lasted up to 6 months!). We turn off our donation page and return any donations that come in the mail —
no exceptions.
As a result, we have less than 30 days to hit our $100,000 goal, so I am asking for your support today.
Can you make a contribution before the fundraising freeze begins?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be processed immediately.
Unlike most politicians, I do not accept donations from large corporations. I rely on grassroots donations of $10 or $20 from individuals like you.
Thank you for your support as I take on the big fights on behalf of Washingtonians.
