A CLOSER LOOK-Deductibles
At the beginning of the calendar year, millions of Americans saw their
health plan's deductible reset. In a March 2019 Health Affairs study,
J. Frank Wharam and colleagues found that women with high-deductible
health plans experienced delayed breast cancer care
relative
to those with lower deductibles.
