Wow, November has been such a successful time for Alabama. Between the
election, progress in education, and supporting innovation at Alabama
universities,the best is truly yet to come.



Governor Ivey was humbled to be elected for four more years as your governor.
She has big plans and will continue to represent our conservative values
throughout the state.

Additionally, Governor Ivey is proud that Alabama elected the first
Republican woman to represent our state in the U.S. Senate. Katie Britt and
Governor Ivey will be strong conservative female leaders for Alabama.

Governor Kay Ivey has always held education in Alabama to a high standard.
She is ready to continue focusing on the importance of education. This month,
Governor Ivey has announced that November is “Thank Alabama Teachers Month” as
they dedicate and commit to helping Alabama’s K-12 students.

Governor Ivey continues her support for students across Alabama universities.
Governor Ivey announced $1.3 million for state innovation and research. The
University of Alabama at Birmingham, the University of Alabama, and Auburn
University will all receive this award to stimulate new research and
development and help improve lives.
