Dear Members and Associates,

We have a number of January events to put on your calendar. I'll list them in order.

Tomorrow, January 4th at 4pm there will be a "No War With Iran" protest at Lake and Superior near the plaza. More information can be found at this Facebook Event.

On Monday, January 6th at 6:30 PM in the Damiano Center (kitchen classroom, 2 Ave W entrance) there will be a Housing Justice Duluth Meeting. This new group is growing with possible union partners. See here. 

The Feminist Justice League is presenting a DSA organized event, a National Reproductive Rights Watch Party. January 11th, Saturday, 1-4 PM at the Duluth Labor Temple. 

For those of you biting at the bit to work on Bernie stuff, I have that on the front burner now. Expect calling opportunities, a get out the vote rally, slippery cold weather door knocking, a music event, more debate watch parties, a possible Labor for Bernie house party and more. Stay tuned!

There are a number of Duluth Branch NAACP events for Martin Luther King this month, culminating in the march and rally at the DECC on January 20th. Look for our table at the DECC. 

Finally, our membership meeting on January 26th, 4 pm, at the Central Hillside Community Center is also our annual meeting. This means we need people to run for steering committee. This is important for the health of our organization. It's not good to have the same people every time. Time to step up! I will send another message later in the month with more information.
