Open enrollment to shop, compare, and renew health insurance through Access Health CT is here, and this year it could mean new savings for you and your family.  

Through January 15th, you can compare health care plans and choose the right one for you by visiting AccessHealthCT.com, calling 1-855-805-4325, or attending an in-person enrollment fair. You can visit AccessHealthCT.com/get-help at any time for free assistance with the enrollment process. 

More than a decade after we fought to make the Affordable Care Act law, we built on that progress to lower health care costs by passing the Inflation Reduction Act. This new law will ensure no American pays more than 8.5% of their income on their premiums, with the average Connecticut resident enrolled on the exchange saving more than $1,600.

Most residents who enroll in a plan through Access Health CT are eligible for premium assistance, including no-cost plans for those eligible for Covered Connecticut. Families with a household income of up to 175% of the federal poverty level can enroll through this program. Learn more here.  

Ensuring all Americans have access to affordable health care has been a key priority of mine in Congress. I am proud of the progress we’ve made to lower health care costs and will continue my efforts to expand access to and improve quality of care.
