join us in calling on Amazon to take action today to stop selling hate on their platform.
Search results like this would be shocking if you were looking for books, videos or Hanukkah gifts. More than a week ago, ADL (along with the Brooklyn Nets) wrote to Jeff Bezos and other top Amazon leaders to express our concerns about that virulently antisemitic film and book. We asked that either Amazon remove the works from their platform or at the very least stop auto-recommending these works and add explanatory context that clarifies why these works are problematic.
Amazon quickly responded to promise action, and even

told The New York Times that they would work with ADL to “explore adding a disclaimer to the film.”
I find it disturbing that it’s more than a week later and it appears Amazon is still “exploring.” We’ve since learned that Barnes & Noble has removed the book from its online store, while on Amazon, its sales have soared.
Our ADL Center on Extremism reported on an appalling number of antisemitic and white supremacist “products” on Amazon. The book and film mentioned above, along with the many other problematic materials we have found on Amazon, are designed by extremists to inflame hatred. Make no mistake, this could lead directly to the harm of Jews.
Promoting vicious and hateful propaganda in the name of increasing sales makes our communities less safe. Amazon can and must do better.
