Michael Bennet

Hi team,

Yesterday, I flew back to Washington for the first time since being re-elected last Tuesday, and I’m happy to say I had some great company: my friends, Representatives Jason Crow, Salud Carbajal, and Joe Neguse.

Packed flights like this are what happens when we put in the work and Coloradans turn out to vote! Last Tuesday, Colorado Democrats grew our Congressional delegation and notched crucial wins at every level:

We re-elected Joe Neguse, Jason Crow, and Diana DeGette — holding all of Colorado’s Democratic US House seats.

We gained two new members of Congress, Brittany Pettersen and Yadira Caraveo, sending two remarkable Democratic women to Washington.

We re-elected Governor Polis and Attorney General Weiser and ensured we have four more years of strong Democratic leadership in Denver.

We sent a clear message about strengthening our democracy and Colorado’s elections when we re-elected Secretary of State Griswold.

And we expanded our state legislative majority — adding so many new Democratic lawmakers that they ran out of seats in the conference chambers!

Folks, the future of Colorado is bright, and that’s largely thanks to the dedication and generosity of this team. With your support, we ran a race that took no vote and no community for granted, and we invested in uplifting fellow Democrats from the top of the ticket to the smallest local race.

Now, even though I won’t be on the ballot for several years, we need to continue investing in building Democratic power from the ground up. That means supporting local Democrats, expanding our organizing infrastructure, and investing in year-round voter outreach.

Last Tuesday’s incredible victories did not happen overnight. They took years of hard work from folks all across Colorado, and we can’t let off the gas now.

That’s why I’m asking: Will you please chip in to continue the hard work of keeping Colorado blue? The presidential election of 2024 will be an all-out fight for our democracy, and we need to begin investing right now.
