We also want to congratulate the over 100 Medicare for All-supporting
incumbents whose races have been called so far and who have been
re-elected to Congress — from Rep. Pramila Jayapal, to Senator Alex
Padilla, and many more. Even more, several races of Medicare for
All-supporting candidates are still yet to be called.

Every new Congress gives us the opportunity to re-introduce Medicare for
All and organize to secure new members of Congress to co-sponsor the
bill.

Last Tuesday's elections prove once again that Medicare for All is a
winning issue from Texas to Florida to Pennsylvania.

Voters – especially youth voters – made it clear that they support health
care as a human right. It’s not a radical idea that everyone should be
able to see a health care provider and not have it bankrupt them, and we
saw that in last Tuesday’s results.

These victories are a testament to our movement’s strength, and we’re
excited for the opportunity to work alongside these health care
champions.

With excitement,

Jasmine Ruddy
