Now that the races in Arizona and Nevada have been called, it’s official…

Democrats defended our Senate majority!

We did it. We just had a historic midterm turnout and after Raphael Warnock wins his runoff in Georgia, we will expand our Senate majority even further.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did to help me and Senate Democrats win our races and make this possible.

Now, we have so much to accomplish moving forward: from helping bring down costs for working families to enshrining full reproductive rights into law and preventing gun violence in our communities.

And I’m looking forward to joining my colleagues, old and new, in the Senate to get to work for the people of Illinois and the rest of the country.

I’m optimistic about what the future holds, but right now we have to turn our attention to Georgia and make sure we finish strong. More on that soon from me and my team.
