Today is National Philanthropy Day, friend, and I’m reaching out to share an important opportunity to create a lasting environmental legacy.
On Giving Tuesday two weeks from today, millions of people worldwide join a global movement to financially power organizations seeking to improve their communities.
It has been a landmark year for climate action in California, between securing a $54 billion climate budget and passing critical climate legislation like phasing out oil drilling next to homes and schools.
And by playing a role in those wins, California Environmental Voters Education Fund has had a landmark year too, from setting a bold agenda with our Policy Roadmap to building on-the-ground power with the launch of our youth Ambassadors program to ensuring the environment was prioritized in the redistricting process.
But we are a small nonprofit that relies on the generosity of members like you to power our efforts to solve the climate crisis, advance justice, and create a roadmap for global action.
So we’ve set a goal of securing 100 donations by Giving Tuesday to help fund our work for 2023. Please, can you include the Ed Fund in your Giving Tuesday plans by making a tax-deductible gift in the next two weeks?
