Church Action on Poverty has a New Vacanecy
Poverty robs people of dignity, freedom, hope and power over their own lives. We at Church Action Against Poverty believe that our vision – an end to poverty in the UK – can become a reality.
One of the ways we tackle poverty is by supporting the Your Local Pantry network. Pantries soften the blow of high living costs, and create the conditions for communities to grow and thrive together.
As the new Your Local Pantry Model Development Coordinator, you will support the development of the Your Local Pantry network across the UK, along with contributing towards Church Action Against Poverty’s strategic goal of building a more powerful social movement rooted in principles of dignity, agency, and power.
You will oversee the process of onboarding new Your Local Pantry franchise partners, including the provision of training, advice and support to set up operationally successful pantries within the ‘Your Local Pantry’ network; liaising with key stakeholders to develop the network; and proactively seeking out potential new suppliers and support across the UK.
This is a 28 or 35-hour-a-week role with options to work from home, our office in Salford Quays or partner offices in Greater Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool or Peckham. The salary is £33,820 - £38,296 pro rata dependent on experience, plus a 10% employer’s pension contribution and generous holiday entitlements.
Closing date: Tuesday 3 January 2023 at 10:00am
Interviews: Friday 13 or Monday 16 January 2023 via zoom
If you also believe in our vision and like the sound of this role, we’d love to hear from you. We actively welcome applications from people belonging to all faiths and none.
