John, Everyone thought this year’s midterm elections would be a major red wave. Well, I’m pleased to report that Democrats have blocked that from happening. It’s clear that most Americans do not support the extreme agendas Republicans are pushing all across the country. It’s clear that most Americans want something different. But Tuesday wasn’t the end — in fact, it was just the beginning. Tuesday’s results only underscore the importance of electing progressive leadership that truly represents the will of the people. That’s why I’m running for mayor, John, and that’s why I need your help today. Even though we stopped a massive red wave this year, Republicans did make significant gains in key races across the country. It’s going to take a serious army to fight back against them, and the Chicago mayoral election is one of our first chances to do so. Thank you, -Lori
