A lot needs to change in America - and we can't do that work alone. That’s why NCRC launched the Just Economy Club. It's the network for individuals who support NCRC's independent, nonprofit research, publishing, investigations, training, advocacy and programs.

It's also a way for individuals who work for organizations that don’t qualify for organizational membership to donate and show support for NCRC.

NCRC and our members are at the forefront of economic justice. We facilitate dialog and secure commitments from banks to invest in the communities where they do business. We renovate and build affordable homes for low- and moderate-income families, provide expertise and financial support to housing counselors, and business-building expertise and financing to entrepreneurs. Our research, investigations and publications on discrimination in lending and housing inform and prompt policymakers to pursue stronger laws, rules and enforcement to protect consumers and to ensure that the private sector does its part to drive inequality out of the economy. 

Just last week we announced a revised community benefits agreement with First Merchants Bank for $2 billion to expand lending, investments and philanthropy for low- and moderate-income families and communities of color. We also filed discrimination complaints with HUD against two appraisal firms in Baltimore, Maryland, based on findings from an appraisal bias investigation we conducted there.
