Mothers and others like us stood up for our values six days ago, and we voted on them. All across the country, voters like us came together to oppose the red wave with such united force that it really turned into more of a red trickle.
But—that's not to say that all is perfectly well in America. Yes, this election held some major wins for us. But it also held some very painful losses.
Especially in red states like Texas, extremists are still deeply entrenched in our political system. From Ted Cruz all the way down the party line, Texas Republicans have doubled down on their extremist agenda, despite the harm for Texas families. They simply don't care.
. . . And they've got big plans.
Us? We have all of you. And together, we are far more powerful.
