With seasonal flu activity increasing across the country, and LA County continuing to show possible signs of a winter COVID-19 surge, now is the best time to get protected against both illnesses. ?

Flu and COVID-19 are not the same virus, but both can cause severe illness and both have life-saving vaccines.??

CDC recommends flu shots for ages 6 months and older. Updated ?bivalent? boosters are approved for children 5 years and older. Children an receive a booster two months after any previous booster or primary vaccination.

No one wants to get COVID-19, but sometimes it still happens despite your best efforts. The important thing is to have a plan and know what to do if you test positive.
