Last week, Democrats came out and made their voices heard. While the votes are still being counted, last week we lost fewer seats in the House of Representatives than any Democratic president’s first midterm election in over 40 years. We made calls, knocked on doors, and showed up for our communities so that our communities could show up in government.

The work isn’t over - the Georgia Senate runoff is right around the corner on December 6 - but Team Coalitions is grateful to each and every one of you for using your voice to elect diverse Democrats up and down the ballot. Thank you for being a part of history!

History Made!

In this midterm election, we had historic wins up and down the ballot, working to make our party more reflective of the real America

Delia Ramirez became the first Latina elected to Congress from the Midwest. Andrea Campbell became the first Black woman elected attorney general of Massachusetts. Rhode Island elected its first two Asian American state legislators. The list goes on and on - Democrats continue to make history!

Young voters especially made their voices heard and showed up for Democrats, with Maxwell Frost in Florida being elected the first Gen-Z member of Congress. Data shows that across the country, voters 18-29 overwhelmingly backed Democrats, and that “the 2022 election had the second highest voter turnout among voters under 30 in at least the past three decades.” Youth voters understand that Democrats are here to help move our country in the right direction.

   Georgia On My Mind

Because no one reached 50% in the general, Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock is headed to a RUNOFF against Republican Herschel Walker! And we need to knock on as many doors and make as many calls as possible to WIN.
