New Projects Expected to Create More Than

$705 Million in Investments

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)?Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted today announced the approval of assistance for 12 projects set to create 3,962 new jobs and retain 717 jobs statewide. During its monthly meeting, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) reviewed economic development proposals brought to the board by JobsOhio and its regional partners. Collectively, the projects are expected to result in more than $153 million in new payroll and spur more than $705 million in investments across Ohio.

Projects approved by the TCA include:

CENTRAL:

Williams Lea Inc., City of Columbus (Franklin Co.), expects to create 550 full-time positions, generating $24.8 million in new annual payroll and retaining $275,073 in existing payroll as a result of the company?s new project in Columbus. Williams Lea provides business support services to financial, legal, and professional services firms. The TCA approved a 1.513 percent, 10-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

NORTHEAST:

Amazon.com Services Inc. (Amazon), City of Akron (Summit Co.), expects to create 1,500 full-time positions, generating $46.8 million in new annual payroll as a result of the company?s new project in Akron. Amazon is an e-commerce company that sells a range of products and services through its website. The TCA approved a 1.461 percent, 10-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

Complion Inc., City of Cleveland (Cuyahoga Co.), expects to create 75 full-time positions, generating $4.5 million in new annual payroll and retaining $2.3 million in existing payroll as a result of the company?s expansion project in Cleveland. Complion provides clinical research sites with a software platform to enable secure, compliant and efficient management of documents and administrative tasks. The TCA approved a 1.532 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

CPP-Cleveland Inc. (CPP), City of Euclid (Cuyahoga Co.), expects to create 128 full-time positions, generating $9.5 million in new annual payroll and retaining $26.1 million in existing payroll as a result of the company?s expansion project in Euclid. CPP manufactures nonferrous metal castings, including alloys, with a focus on the aerospace industry. The TCA approved a 1.675 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

Hydro-Aire Inc. (Crane), City of Elyria (Lorain Co.), expects to create 26 full-time positions, generating $1.6 million in new annual payroll and retaining $18.9 million in existing payroll as a result of the company?s expansion project in Elyria. Crane manufactures landing gear systems and fluid handling systems primarily for the aerospace industry. The TCA approved a 1.531 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

RIA In A Box LLC, Village of Orange (Cuyahoga Co.), expects to create 90 full-time positions, generating $6.3 million in new annual payroll and retaining $1.4 million in existing payroll as a result of the company?s expansion project in the Village of Orange. RIA In A Box provides compliance workflow solutions to wealth managers. The TCA approved a 1.661 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

Rochling Glastic Composites L.P., City of South Euclid (Cuyahoga Co.), expects to create 26 full-time positions, generating $1.2 million in new annual payroll and retaining $6 million in existing payroll as a result of the company?s expansion project in South Euclid. Rochling Glastic Composites manufactures engineered composites. The TCA approved a 1.208 percent, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

NORTHWEST:

Amazon.com Services Inc. (Amazon), City of Rossford (Wood Co.), expects to create 1,000 full-time positions, generating $31 million in new annual payroll as a result of the company?s new project in Rossford. Amazon is an e-commerce company that sells a range of products and services through its website. The TCA approved a 1.562 percent, 10-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

SOUTHEAST:

AMG Vanadium LLC, Washington Township (Muskingum Co.), expects to create 102 full-time positions, generating $5.4 million in new annual payroll as a result of the company?s new project in Washington Township. AMG Vanadium provides products and services for the metals, manufacturing, refinery, and petrochemical industries. The TCA approved a 1.477 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

United Candle Company LLC (United Candle), Village of Norwich (Muskingum Co.), expects to create 100 full-time positions, generating $4 million in new annual payroll as a result of the company?s new project in the Village of Norwich. United Candle manufactures candles for various companies nationwide. The TCA approved a 0.824 percent, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

SOUTHWEST:

80 Acres Urban Agriculture Inc. (80 Acres), City of Hamilton (Butler Co.), expects to create 125 full-time positions, generating $8 million in new annual payroll and retaining $1.74 million in existing payroll as a result of the company?s expansion project in Hamilton. 80 Acres grows fruits and vegetables hydroponically. The TCA approved a 1.647 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

LOCATION TBD:

Comet Processing Inc. (Post), (Location TBD), expects to create 240 full-time positions, generating $10 million in new annual payroll as a result of the company?s new project in a to-be-determined location. Post is a consumer-packaged goods holding company. The TCA approved a 1.461 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
